She was blessed with four grandchildren; Troy Meadors, Dr. Mark Meadors, Tracy Meadors Merickel and Matthew Meadors. Her great-grandchildren, Jacob Meadors, Jordan Meadors, Gabriel Meadors, Nathan Meadors, Grace Merickel and Paige Merickel, all brought great joy to her life. Kathryn was married to Pierce Windell Meadors for seventy years. Their love was strong and enduring. When he passed away in 2013, his death left her with a broken heart and a void that was never filled, but her faith in God helped her through the sad times. Tracy and her husband T.R. Merickel and their daughters Grace and Paige were a constant in Grandma's life, lending support after Pierce's passing. Mark and his wife Bethany have always lent loving support and prayers for Kaye during the difficult times.Kathryn was a housewife and a Bakersfield resident for 65 years. She worked for Sears for twenty years in Bakersfield CA and Medford Oregon. She was always full of life and fun. Funny and quick-witted loved to write and has volumes of personal journals. She had a passion for family genealogy and pursued the past history of our families with a determination to learn and document her findings. Mom, we love and will always miss you. The family would like to extend a special thank .you to Rev. Duane Meadors and Optimal Hospice.
