Freddie Leroy Boyt, 77, of Bakersfield, CA, passed away on May 14, 2017, in Bakersfield, CA.
Freddie was born Parma, MO to Homer and Emma Boyt on October 22, 1939. He married Patricia Lou Ray on October 13, 1961, in Bakersfield, CA. He worked as a welder for ARB Inc. for 50 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army and Navy. He was always very involved in his local church, various ministries, and missions.

Freddie Leroy Boyt, 77, of Bakersfield, CA, passed away on May 14, 2017, in Bakersfield, CA.
Freddie was born Parma, MO to Homer and Emma Boyt on October 22, 1939. He married Patricia Lou Ray on October 13, 1961, in Bakersfield, CA. He worked as a welder for ARB Inc. for 50 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army and Navy. He was always very involved in his local church, various ministries, and missions.
Freddie is preceded in death by his father Homer L. Boyt, mother Emma Villa Boyt and sister Margaret. Leroy is survived by wife Patricia Boyt, and children Darla (Michael) Cornell, David (Kimberly) Boyt; grandchildren Dalton, Paityn, and Jensen Boyt; sister Barbara and brother Billy.
Internment services will be held at 10:00 AM. Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary (9101 Kern Canyon Rd.) on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. A "Celebration of Life" service will be held immediately following internment at Celebration Church of the Northwest, 10011 Rosedale Hwy. with the Rev. Mark Roberts, officiating.
The family of Leroy Boyt wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Ahmad and a host of family and friends, Leroy will be missed by all but we know that soon we'll see him again.
